What's New in Releventful - April 29th, 2024
This update is focused on new enhancements to the platform, general bug fixes, and performance improvements. Please see these enhancements outlined in more detail below.
Employee Scheduling by Role
You asked, and we listened! The open positions feature has been updated to include a shift role element. Instead of notifying your entire team of available open positions, you can now determine who is notified, and eligible for the shift, based on the employee role assigned.
Only employees who have the specific role assigned to their employee account details will be notified of the open positions they are a match for. If you would like to continue to notify all of your employees about an open position, leave the shift role blank.

Custom To-Do Print Outs
Generate a custom PDF from a portal's To-Do menu! Follow the steps below to create your custom PDF:
1. Navigate to the event portal.
2. Open the "To-Do" menu.
3. Select the "View To-Do List" option in the upper right-hand corner.
4. Select "Generate Custom PDF" at the bottom of the drop-down list that appears.
5. Check the applicable boxes for the items you want included in the custom to-do print out:

This custom print out feature is useful if you are taking advantage of the incorporated event to-do timeline. Learn more about the to-do timeline in the following video tutorial:
View the Invoice Without Signing the Contract
When a contract is added to a proposal, your client will be required to sign the contract after the proposal is accepted before being able to view the invoice and payments. With our new available setting, you can now allow your client to move to the invoice tab without enforcing a signature on the contract.
To locate this setting, select the settings gear at the bottom of the navigation bar on the left-hand side. Select "Invoice Settings" and open "Invoice Helper" from the submenu list that appears. Scroll to the bottom of the page and toggle on the setting under "Proposal Contract Setting."
Lead Form Updates
Change the Text on the Submit Button
You can now change the text of the submit button on the website lead form. If you would like to change the text from "Submit" to a word of your choosing, select the settings gear at the top of the lead form. Scroll down to the bottom of the pop-up window. Enter your desired text for the submit button in the "Submit Button Text" field.
Webpage Redirect Link
After a lead populates and submits the website lead form, you can direct them to a new webpage of your choosing. To enter in the URL that you would like the lead sent to after submission, select the settings gear at the top of the lead form. Scroll down to the "Webpage Redirect Link" setting and place the desired URL in the webpage field provided.

Condense Lead Form Questions with Two and Three Column Lists
Place questions side by side in the lead form with the two and three column list options! Instead of having one question per field on the lead form, utilize the column options to still capture necessary data, but condense the questions within the form to optimize for space and display on your external website.

Add the Invoice to a Contract
A new setting has been added to the quick-close invoice configuration options. With this update, you can now choose to include the invoice with the contract; creating one central display where the client can review the invoice items while signing the contract.

Contract Only Option
Do you only need to send a contract to a client? You now have the option to create a standalone contract and no longer need to tie the contract to a proposal or invoice. Follow the steps below to send a contract:
1. Edit the event and navigate to "Invoices" tab.
2. Select the "+ Add New" button.
3. Select the option for "Add Contract" from the list that appears:
ℹ️ Note: When the contract only option is selected, you will only see the contract tile on the quick-close invoice screen.
Payment Schedule Modification Updates
An enhancement was added to the product that will remove a payment schedule when a payment request is modified. If you choose to change the total of a payment request that has been populated by a payment schedule, you will see a pop-up message indicating that the payment schedule will be removed from all payment requests on the invoice based on your manual update.
This update is to assist with payment adjustments to requests calculated by payment schedule percentages. You can read more about this update in the following article:
Room Management for the Venue Product
Releventful's new room management feature enables you to manage your rooms and ensure they are not double booked. Quickly view room availability and reservations via the room calendar to closely manage your event spaces.

The room management feature is only available to clients on the Releventful Venue Product Line. If you're currently not on the Releventful Venue Product line, but would like to use Room Management, let our team know and we can update your plan.
ℹ️ Note: If you upgrade from a legacy plan to the venue plan, your price will not increase unless you also change additional options to your plan further down the page. General Bug Fixes and Performance Enhancements
In this release, bug fixes were implemented for processes related to QuickBooks and Payment Schedules. Adjustments were also made to the TaxJar integration to increase efficiency.
General performance enhancements were also deployed in this release to assist with load time and the overall speed of the system.
