If you would like to display the invoice and all invoice line items with the contract, there is a setting to combine the invoice with the contract within the available quick-close invoice settings. This is a great setting to have enabled so that the client can review their invoice and invoice total while providing their signature on the contract.
From the quick-close invoice screen, select the toggle on the left hand side, "Add Invoice to Contract."
When this setting is enabled, the invoice, and all invoice line items, will appear at the top of the page above the contract text when the contract tab is viewed by the client.
When the client signs the contract, they have the opportunity to review the invoice items while also reviewing the content of the contract all on one page before proceeding to the invoice tab.
ℹ️ Note: If changes are made to the invoice after the contract has been signed, the changes to the invoice will be reflected on the already signed contract. If you would like to ask the client for a new signature based on the invoice changes, you will need to remove the signed contract and reissue a new contract for the client to sign.
