Create inventory records so your team can track stock and the items needed for events.
Steps
Open the inventory manager and select Add Inventory.
Name the item and enter its Available Quantity. Decide whether a record represents one individually tracked item or a group of identical items.
Add useful details such as location, description, model/serial number, image, current value and QR code where appropriate.
Save the item and check its quantity and identifying details.
Link it to a package/add-on or allocate it to an invoice when you want to track its use on events.
Make an item sellable
Use Is Sellable Item and choose its sellable type when the inventory should have a related package/add-on. Review the resulting catalog item, price, tax and association. Avoid creating several competing catalog links for an item unless you have checked how updates will be handled.
Stock versus allocations
Total stock is different from the quantity allocated to an invoice and the quantity available across overlapping events. Use the invoice Inventory Status report to review demand and shortages. Creating an inventory record alone does not mean every sold package has been configured to allocate it.
Keep records accurate
Update stock quantities when equipment is added, removed or unavailable. Check existing package/add-on associations before renaming or changing a sellable item so you understand which catalog record is affected.

Sellable inventory updates the linked catalog
When a sellable item is saved, its linked package/add-on can receive the inventory name, description and current value as its price. If no association exists, the system can create one with an inventory quantity of 1. Review all associations first: more than one linked catalog item may be updated.
