How Releventful helps event businesses invoice and collect payments

Learn how Releventful helps you create invoices, schedule and collect client payments, and track balances and payment activity throughout the event.

Connect the sale to the event

An event invoice can show the services offered, the amount due, scheduled payments, and what has been received. That gives the venue a clearer view of the client's balance and the next payment action without reconstructing the sale from separate records.

Choose a payment approach

Depending on the account's setup, a client may pay by card or bank draft through an enabled provider such as Stripe or Releventful Pay. The business can create a schedule for deposits and later payments, send reminders, and offer automatic payment enrollment where supported. The client authorization and the provider's transaction result matter: an invoice record alone is not proof that money moved.

Keep financial details accurate

The team should review tax, service charges, due dates, and existing payments before sending or changing an invoice. Card and bank payments can have different processing times. A successful invoice payment can also appear before the provider's bank deposit. Releventful's provider-specific guides explain refunds, failed payments, deposits, and troubleshooting.

A good first step

Set up the payment processor for the correct business brand, create a sample invoice and payment schedule, and test the client checkout before requesting a live payment. Keep the Stripe, Releventful Pay, and accounting guides available for detailed questions.

Try this in Releventful

  1. Click Settings

  2. Click Payment Processor, under Payment Setup

  3. Check the enabled provider and methods for the correct brand

Open an Event and click New Proposal / Invoice from the Event Menu. Add a package or line item and click Save. Add a Payment Schedule to review deposit and later due dates. Click Preview to check the client checkout and total before using Send to Client for a live invoice.
