Save an agreement template with the fields Releventful will fill from an event or invoice.

Steps

  1. Open Billing & Sales and the contract-template manager.

  2. Create a template, give it a clear name and enter or import your agreement text.

  3. Use the editor's token tools to add the supported event, client, invoice and signature fields.

  4. Format the text and review the tokens in the agreement context.

  5. Save the template and test it on a sample invoice before using it with a client.

Signature fields and signers are separate

A signature field controls where signing appears in the agreement. The invoice recipient/access settings control who must sign. Adding one template signature field does not mean only one client can sign the contract.

Initials and layout

Use supported initials fields where required and preview their placement in the rendered contract. Check page breaks and multiline dates. Do not rely on spacing that only looks correct in the editor.

Template versus a signed agreement

A saved template is for reuse. Editing it does not rewrite all previously created or signed contracts. Review agreement changes and signing requirements on the specific invoice.
