Design a ClientCart proposal template

Create a reusable proposal layout that presents your services clearly and lets the client make the selections you intend.

Create a reusable proposal layout that presents your services clearly and lets the client make the selections you intend.

Steps

  1. Open Billing & Sales and the proposal-template manager.

  2. Create or edit a ClientCart template and give it a clear name.

  3. Add text, images, section titles and the package/add-on fields needed for your offer.

  4. Review package and add-on selection settings, limits and any automatically included choices.

  5. Check event-related fields and other settings, then save.

  6. Load the template on a sample proposal and test its selections, totals and phone/desktop layout.

Presenting versus selecting

A services overview can have selection turned off. A selectable offer needs actual package/add-on fields; placing a price in an image does not create a selectable item. Check whether add-ons are offered within a package or separately.

Mapped event information

Fields connected to event information can update that information when the client submits their choices. Review these fields and test the result before using them on a real event.

Template versus one proposal

Saving the reusable template affects how it can be used in future work. Editing a copy on one invoice does not mean every other proposal changes. Review the loaded proposal before sending it.
