Collect the details your team needs with clear questions and a layout clients can complete comfortably.
Steps
Open the form-template manager and create or edit a planning form.
Add the question types you need and write clear labels and instructions.
Use section titles and supported column layouts to group related questions.
Set required fields, choices and any connection to event details deliberately.
Save and preview the form, then load it in a sample event To-Do to test the completed answers.
Keep the form focused
Use a planning form for planning answers; a proposal with selectable prices is a different document. Break long instructions into sections and avoid asking again for details you already have unless the client needs to confirm them.
Connected event fields
Some form fields are linked to the event record. A submitted answer can change the corresponding event information. Test those mappings on a sample event rather than assuming every question is just a note.
After testing
Review task assignment, due date and reminder separately. Calendly or another integration is optional and needs its own setup. Updating a form template is separate from reviewing the copy already loaded on an existing event.
