Understanding Your Dashboard

The Dashboard is a powerful tool that can sometimes be overlooked. But we're here to teach you how to use it to it's fullest capacity!

The Dashboard is broken up into four different areas:

  1. Quick Reports

  2. Revenue Overviews

  3. Rolling Event Calendar

  4. Business Notifications

Quick Reports

At the top of your Dashboard, you'll notice four display sections. These are Unbooked Events, Active Events, Unpaid Invoices, and Overdue Payments. By clicking into any one of these, you will be taken to the actual report where you can drill down further for more information.

ℹ️ Note: If you save the report within the Reporting area, it will update the display on the Dashboard. For example: If you change the date range for the Unbooked Events to a shorter date range, the number of Unbooked Events and potential revenue will update accordingly.

Revenue Overviews

This section includes three display areas: Single Month Bookings, Single Month Revenue, and 24-Month Revenue Chart showing invoice totals as compared to received payments.

  • Single Month Bookings: Sales trend report based on the date an event was set to Booked

  • Single Month Revenue: Report based on Invoices for booked events that have not been cancelled

  • 24-Month Revenue Chart: Blue line showing Received Payments. Black line shows Invoice Totals. You can download this chart or view the data table by clicking the options icon (three horizontal lines) on the right side.

Rolling Event Calendar

This is a 3-day rolling calendar that will display all upcoming events. Here you can view the event name, date, time, booking status, event status (color-coded dot), and employees scheduled for the event. Click into the event to go straight to the client Portal. See example below:

Business Notifications

At the bottom of your Dashboard, you'll find two sections: Event Emails and To-Dos. These are powerful tools to help you quickly understand your next steps as well as your client's next steps.

Event Emails includes:

  • My unread emails: Emails addressed to you that have not been viewed. Click to view the list and click into a message to mark it as Read.

  • Scheduled emails: Automated emails that are scheduled to be sent out. Clicking into this will take you to the Scheduled Notifications area under the Scheduler.

  • Unopened event contact emails: Emails sent to your client (or other event contacts) that have not been viewed.

To-Dos includes:

  • My To-Dos due today: To-Dos that have been assigned to me from within an event portal (or portal template) and have a due date of today.

  • My To-Dos due after today: To-Dos that have been assigned to me from within an event portal (or portal template) and have a future due date.

  • Outstanding client To-Dos: To-Dos that have been assigned to a client from within an event portal (or portal template) and have not been Marked as Completed.
