In this tutorial, we will be covering the overall navigation of Releventful at a high level. If you would like a deeper dive into the menus and tools that we point to today, please locate those walkthroughs and tutorials in our video resource library at help.releventful.com.

When you login to Releventful, you will land on the dashboard. The dashboard contains various tiles and widgets that relay information pertaining to the events and invoices in your account. For each of the tiles represented, you can click on them to take a closer look at the data that is represented. For example, you can see on the far left, the tile labeled “Unbooked Events.” If selected, you will be brought to the “Unbooked Events Report” to review any unbooked events in the system at a closer level.

At any point in your navigation of the platform, you can jump back to the dashboard with the dashboard icon on the left-hand side. This icon looks like multiple squares and can be found underneath the plus icon. When selected, you will be moved back to the dashboard view.

I would like to direct your attention to the navigation bar on the left-hand side of the page. This navigation bar will take you to the various menus and tools in Releventful and help you manage your business.

Starting at the top, underneath the Releventful “R” icon, if you have multiple brands created in your account, this first icon here will allow you to switch views between brands. This is important for the sales pipeline and calendar display, as you will be able to determine which brand’s data you are reviewing at any time.

The next icon is the search magnifying glass. Use this icon to search for specific events in the system. Underneath that, you can easily add an event, invoice, lead or proposal with the “add new” plus icon.

Moving down the list, you will find the calendar icon. When selected, you will be brought to your calendar of events and can manage your events from here.

The contacts menu will show you all your leads, clients, event contacts and venues that have been entered into the system. You can search for specific points of contact with the available search filter on this page.

Next is the sales pipeline where you can manage your leads through the various sales stages. The sales pipeline allows you to manage your business and drive sales.

The reports menu allows you to to pull a wide range of data regarding your events and leads in the system. You can run reports on booked and unbooked events, payments made, and so much more. There are filter options that will allow you to export the specific data that you need.

In the “Scheduler” you will find options to view “sales campaigns”, “scheduled notifications”, and “SMS Usage.” Any emails and SMS messages that you have scheduled to run in the system automatically can be found via this icon in Releventful.

The templates menu is where your workflow and documentation reside. Think of this menu as the central area where your business framework is created and maintained. You will see submenus here for the various elements of your business - emails, contracts, package and add-on offerings, payment schedules and much more. This will be where you find yourself most often as you are building that framework for your business needs.

Please refer to our video resource library at help.releventful.com for a deeper dive into these submenus.

If you have purchased the DJ add-on, you will have the song manager icon here to manage your music and top hits lists. For more information on the DJ add-on, please locate our specific song selection tutorials at help.releventful.com.

Inventory can be found with the next icon in the navigation bar. List any inventory items here that you would like to reserve with the purchase of your various packages and add on services. This is a great way to allocate physical equipment when packages are purchased by your clients.

The next icon is for open positions. Open positions is a feature of Releventful’s scheduling capabilities that allows you to create employee work shifts and post them as open positions that need to be filled. Your employees can review posted open positions and request to work them. For more information on Open Positions, please refer to the employee scheduling tutorial.

The message inbox allows you to view all messages in the system - both read, unread and sent messages. You can add a date filter on this display to only see certain messages that have been sent and received within that time parameter.

Any notifications that come to you will appear via the notification bell. These can be lead inquiries, employee time off requests and other actions that require your attention.

Customize your account with the various menus nested within the settings icon. You can customize Releventful to your colors and branding via the “business brands” menu. You can also set your email notification preferences within the “Communication Preferences” menu.

Under the “payment setup” option you can connect your payment processor and set your currency preference. There are a lot of configuration options within this settings menu to customize Releventful to align with your business preferences so feel free to take a look around.

The last icon on the left hand navigation bar is a sign out option. This will sign you out of your Releventful account.

The entire left hand navigation bar can be hidden with the collapse option to the right of the Releventful “R” icon.

At any point of opening an event in the system, you will have the quick access icon appear at the top of the navigation bar. This allows you to skip around the different areas of the event that you recently were working on as needed.

This concludes our high level walkthrough of the dashboard and overall navigation of Releventful. If you are looking for a deeper dive into any of the menus and tools that were showcased today, please locate those walkthroughs and tutorials in our video resource library at help.releventful.com.
