What clients can use

Depending on the event setup and their access, clients can review event details, complete assigned To-Dos/forms, make song selections, read shared documents and open the invoices/contracts/payments they have access to.

Messages and documents

Each conversation has its own participants. A person added to one message does not automatically see every event conversation. Documents need deliberate sharing, and internal lead files are not automatically client documents.

Staff access

Scheduling someone for an event and granting portal access are different choices. Employee permissions and brand scope determine which business tools and event information they can see.

Check the client experience

  1. Open the event and review its contacts and permissions.

  2. Use the supported client preview or Log in as Client action for the intended client.

  3. Check the actual documents, tasks and messages visible to that person.

Preview is useful for checking access. It does not make a real send, signature or payment a test action. Use sample data for testing.

Move between event tools

Use the event's Quick Access menu to move between its available tools. Business editing controls are not the same as the client portal view.
