Our invoicing gives your client one seamless experience where they can review, sign and pay resulting in quicker lead to client conversions and quicker payments for you and your business!
Proposals can be included in the invoice if you would like to send a proposal or an estimate of services to your customer.
Releventful supports two different types of proposals
Line Item Proposal – this is a highly customizable proposal that will display your packages and add-ons as rows.
Proposal Template – using our proposal template editor you can design stunningly beautiful proposals. With proposal templates, you can allow your customer to “shop around” and pick their own options.
Contracts can be included in the invoice if you would like your customer to sign and agree to your contract. Our contracts not only support E-Signatures but also requiring your customer to initial sections of the contract.
Note: our E-Signature support is ESIGN and UETA compliant so you can have peace of mind knowing that your contracts are legally binding.
Payments can be added to the invoice to require payment from your customer.
We’ve partnered with Square, Stripe, and PayPal to give you and your customer a seamless payment experience. When you receive payment in Releventful you can have peace of mind that we are fully compliant with the industries latest regulations and security requirements.
Previewing the Invoice
Previewing the invoice will let you see the invoice as it will appear for your customer.
To preview the invoice
In the Invoice Home, click Preview (icon shown above)
I cannot submit the proposal
Any actions taken in the invoice preview will not be saved. If you would like to take action on behalf of your customer, click Edit as Client in the invoice preview
I don’t see my payments listed in the invoice preview
Payments can be turned on or off on the invoice preview, to turn them on
In the Settings are of the Invoice Home, click the Payments toggle button to turn the Payments tab on
I cannot sign the contract for my client
Since E-Signatures are legally binding, signing for your client is not supported.
I don’t see my contract listed in the invoice preview
The contract can be turned on or off on the invoice preview, to turn it on
In the Settings are of the Invoice Home, click the Contract toggle button to turn the Contract tab on
I don’t see the invoice listed in the invoice preview
Toggling the invoice tab of the invoice preview off is only available if you have added a proposal to your invoice.
An example of turning the invoice off in the invoice preview is if you would like your customer to only review the proposal.
To turn the invoice on in the invoice preview
In the Settings are of the Invoice Home, click the Invoice toggle button to turn the Invoice tab on
How do I make changes to a proposal that my client submitted?
In the Invoice Home, click Make Changes to the proposal
Click Change Proposal in the navigation bar
Client Proposal Review
When a proposal is added to your invoice your client will be required to review and submit the proposal. Once the proposal has been submitted by your client, the proposal selections will be finalized and the invoice will be displayed to them if the Show Invoice setting has been turned on.
Emailing the Invoice to Your Client
When you are ready for your client to view the invoice, click the Send to client button (icon shown above) and an email will be sent to them to review the invoice.
ℹ️ Note: Once the invoice is sent to your client, the Pay & E-Sign button will be enabled on their portal.
Sync an Invoice to QuickBooks
If you are using QuickBooks online for your business, you can have Releventful automatically create the invoices in QuickBooks.
