Quick-Close Settings
The quick-close invoicing settings allow you to customize the options that are available to your customer when you send the invoice.
Click on the button next to the setting option to turn it on or off.
Show Invoice – this displays Invoice tab on the invoice
Show Contract – this displays the Contract tab on the invoice
Show Payments – this displays any active payments on the Invoice tab
The Client Workflow
If all of the Quick-Close settings are enabled, and a proposal has been added to the process, there is a basic workflow added requiring the client to take the following actions:
Review the proposal and accept it by clicking Submit & Continue.
Sign the contract and click Submit & Continue.
At this time, the client will be presented with the invoice. Any configured payments will also be displayed at that time.
By using the settings in the Quick-Close invoicing you can remove portions of the workflow (i.e. turn off the Contract to allow the client to pay without signing OR start with just an invoice so the client is not required to review the proposal first. Use all of the available settings, or a combination of the settings, to achieve the workflow that aligns with your business needs.
ℹ️ Note: If you have connected your account with QuickBooks, QuickBooks Sync will display. Turning this on will sync the invoice to your connected QuickBooks Online account.
