To help keep your account clean and streamlined, you can set up automatic actions that cancel or archive events when they reach a specific sales stage.
These settings reduce manual work and ensure your pipeline stays organized as events progress.
How to Access Event Helper Settings
Follow the steps below to locate these settings:
Select the Settings gear in the left hand navigation.
Navigate to Event Settings.
Select Event Helpers.
From here, you can configure both automatic cancel and archive settings.
Automatically Cancel Events
You can automatically cancel events when they are moved into a specific sales stage.
Follow the steps below to enable automatic cancel:
Go to Event Helpers.
Enable Automatically Cancel Events.
Select the sales stage that should trigger cancellation.
Save your settings.
Once enabled, any event moved into the selected sales stage will be automatically canceled.
Note:
When an event is canceled:
Client portal access is revoked
All scheduled automated emails will stop
Tip:
Using this setting with your Closed - Lost sales stage is a great way to ensure inactive opportunities are properly closed out.
Automatically Archive Events
You can also automatically archive events when they reach a specific sales stage.
Follow the steps below to enable automatic archiving:
Go to Event Helpers.
Enable Automatically Archive Events.
Select the sales stage that should trigger archiving.
Save your settings.
Once enabled, any event moved into the selected sales stage will be automatically archived.
Note:
When an event is archived:
Event is removed from the sales pipeline, but available to view in reporting

For both automatic cancel and archive:
You will select a specific sales stage
When an event is moved into that stage, the selected action will automatically occur
These actions help reduce manual updates and keep your pipeline accurate
