How do I send a one-off email to a lead?
You can message a lead directly through the sales campaign tile on their lead card. The lead must have an associated event in order to receive messages through this method.
Messages sent this way appear in the message inbox and are tied to the lead’s activity history.
1. Locate the lead on the sales pipeline.
2. Click on their lead card and select "Edit" > "Edit Lead."
3. In the menu that appears from the right-hand side, select the "Sales Campaigns" tile (as shown in the image below).
4. On the new page that appears, select the "+ Add" button in the upper right-hand corner.
5. Select "Add Email" from the drop-down list that appears.
ℹ️ Note: The lead's associated event will appear under the event field. The lead will need to have an event associated to their account in order to contact them through this method.
6. If you have an existing email template that you would like to utilize, select the "Choose Saved Email" button. Or, create an email from scratch with the "Create from Scratch" option.
7. In the new pop-up page that appears, you can choose to notify the lead via email or SMS if you have the SMS add-on option. Configure the rest of your message with the available fields and settings on this pop-up display.
8. Select "Schedule" at the bottom of the window to setup/send your message to the identified lead.
What happens if a lead or client replies?
Replies to emails or SMS messages sent through Releventful appear in your message inbox and in the messages tab of the associated event.
If your notification preferences are enabled, you will also receive the response in your external email inbox and, if applicable, through the mobile app.
Replies sent from email or within Releventful are automatically delivered back to the client and shared with other event contacts as appropriate.
Why does an email show as not read?
Read receipts depend on the recipient’s email client allowing images to load. If images are blocked, Releventful cannot detect the open, even if the message was viewed.
This does not affect delivery. Replies and client actions such as document views or payments provide the most reliable confirmation of engagement.
