Write a welcome email for booked clients

Welcome a new client with a clear explanation of their portal and the next action you want them to take.

Welcome a new client with a clear explanation of their portal and the next action you want them to take.

Before using the sample

Confirm the event is at the intended booking stage. Use the email editor's recipient-specific portal link token and review it on sample data. Do not paste a real client's private access link into a reusable template.

Sample welcome message

Hi [first name],

Thank you for choosing [business name] for your event on [event date]. We are looking forward to working with you.

Your event portal keeps the details in one place. Use it to review the documents shared with you, complete assigned planning tasks and message our team.

Open your portal here: [insert the supported portal-link token]. Your next step is [describe the task you have assigned].

If you need help, reply to this message or contact us at [business contact details].

Make it match the event

Replace the bracketed examples with your own wording and supported tokens. Mention song planning, payments or the optional mobile app only if that client will use them. Do not promise an earlier portal email has arrived unless you have confirmed it was sent.

When automating it

Choose the workflow trigger and intended recipients, preview the final message and test with sample data. Enabling the step can send a real welcome email when its conditions are met.
