Learn how to copy your portal templates to use for other types of events.

Copy Sections of Portal Templates

Each portal template is organized together under the type of event that you handle for your business. To copy sections of your portal template to use in other types of events you service for your business do the following.

In the portal templates section (under Templates in the side navigation, then Portal Templates)

1. Click on the type of event you would like to service for your business (event types are listed across the top)

2. Then, Under Step 3: Planning / Setting up the Client Portal, click the edit (pencil button) to display your Portal Automations.

3. Click on the To-Do, Timeline, or Scheduled Message you would like to copy to open it

4. In the item, click on the Options button in the top left (see button below)

4. Click Copy Portal Template

Note: The copied item will load automatically.

5. In the copied item, click the portal template menu button (see button below) and choose Change the kind of event this is for

6. Choose the type of event the copied item is for in the dropdown menu and click Done

7. Change the name of the copied item in the Portal Template Name field

8. If you would like your portal template to run automatically, make sure you turn it on by clicking the On/Off toggle in the upper right corner.

9. Click Save to save your changes

Copy Entire Portal Template

If you prefer to copy the entire portal template and all established settings and automations for a particular event type, follow the steps outlined below:

1. Click on the type of event you would like to service for your business (event types are listed across the top)

2. Once selected, click the Copy Template option in the upper left-hand corner of the page

3. In the pop-up window that displays, enter the name of the new event type to generate the copy under this new event type tab
