Contact Navigation Options
You can access all contact actions from two places:
While in an event, click Contacts in the side navigation.
From the event edit screen, click the Event Contacts tab.
Once you're on the contacts list, hover over or click a contact's name to reveal the following options:
Edit client details — update the contact's information.
Copy client's event link — copies their unique portal access link. Use this to share via email or another method, or to open in an incognito/private window to test the client experience without logging out.
Send event link email to client — sends the portal access link directly to the client's email address.
Log in as client — opens a new browser tab logged in as the client so you can see their portal view. ⚠️ Important: this action logs you out of your current Releventful account. If you do not want to be logged out, use Copy client's event link and open it in an incognito or private window instead. To return to your own account, close the Releventful browser tabs and log in again in a new window.
Resend an Event Link
If your client is having trouble accessing their portal, you can resend them their event link. See the Contact Navigation Options section above — hover over or click the client's name and select Send event link email to client.
Login as Your Client
To view the portal as your client sees it, hover over or click the client's name in the contacts list and select Log in as client. See the Contact Navigation Options section above for the full details and the important warning about being logged out of your account.
Note: When selecting the "Log in as Client" link, you will be automatically logged out of your account and logged into your client's account in a separate browser tab. In order to log back into your own Releventful account, we recommend that when you are done impersonating your client, close the open Releventful browsers. Proceed to open a brand new browser and login as yourself to return to your account.
Important Note:
Each user receives a personalized access link to the event portal, tied specifically to their email address. For simplicity, clients do not need a username or password—clicking their link logs them in automatically.
Because of this, it’s essential that clients do not share their access links with others. Anyone who uses someone else’s link will be logged in as that person, and will be able to send messages and take actions on their behalf.
For best results and accurate communication tracking, we recommend that each participant uses only their own unique link.
