Reporting on Leads and Sales

Learn how to use lead and sales reports to track inquiry volume, lead sources, sales owners, and pipeline stages across your business.

Written by Naomi Sherman

Use lead and sales reports to inspect inquiry volume, source, owner, and stage. Compare the same date range across views.

Why this matters

A report answers a business question only when its date range, brand, filters, and measure are clear. Open the records behind an unexpected number before sharing or acting on it.

Before you start

Choose the date range and brand that match the question, and check your report access.

In Releventful

  1. Click Reports and open a lead or sales report.

  2. Choose the period and brand, then click + Add Filter to select source, owner or stage.

  3. Click a lead row to inspect the source record; save the view with Save Report if your team will reuse it.

A useful decision

Lead counts and stage changes describe pipeline activity. Use the same date range and brand when comparing periods, and open a lead when the source or owner appears wrong.

Check the result

Open a source record when a figure is surprising. Save or export only after confirming the scope.

Important to know

Filters change which records appear. Revenue, invoice value, and money received may answer different questions even when their totals look similar.
