Managing Contract Signers

Learn how to manage contract signers, update signer details, and confirm signature requirements before sending a contract to your client.

Written by Naomi Sherman

Set the required signers and their email addresses before sending. Correct an error before asking the client to sign.

Why this matters

These documents move a client from an offer toward a confirmed event. A saved draft, sent proposal, accepted proposal, signed contract, and booked event each mean something different; check the actual status before the next step.

Before you start

Open the correct event and confirm its client, prices, dates, and booking requirements.

In Releventful

  1. Open the event's contract before sending and click Edit Contract.

  2. Add or correct each required signer and email address, then click Save Changes.

  3. Click Signature Settings to check the signing rule, then Preview the contract; send only when all signers are correct.

A useful decision

Check the signer list and the contract's status. A signature request is not complete merely because it was sent, and a missing signer can hold up the next booking step.

Check the result

Open the event to confirm what was saved, sent, accepted, or signed. Follow up only after checking the actual status.

Important to know

Saving a document differs from sending it. Proposal acceptance, contract signing, payment, and the event's booking rule can each start a different next step.
