Assign only the brands the employee works with. Switch brands to confirm their records and reports are scoped correctly.
Why this matters
Roles, brand access, event assignments, and notification choices work together. Review each of them so employees can do their jobs without seeing unrelated business or client information.
Before you start
You may need an owner or administrator role to change employee access or account-level preferences.
In Releventful
Click Settings
Click Employees
Click Manage Employees
Select the employee from your team
Navigate to Business Access, under Employee Details
Enter the name of the brand that they should have access tow
Select the brand
Click Save Details
To limit a brand access, select Employee in the Administrative Access section, and then click Save Details. Reopen the employee to confirm the chosen Business Brands.
Note: Navigate to the Dashboard from the Main Menu, then New Event from the top bar, choose the Business Brand in Event Basics, click Save and reopen the event to confirm its brand.
A useful decision
Access may depend on the role, the selected business brand, and an event assignment. Test the intended task with a representative employee account before broadening permissions.
Check the result
Check the person's access and notifications from their role. Review their event assignments separately.
Important to know
A role, brand assignment, and event assignment can each limit access. A missing alert may also be caused by the employee's communication preferences.
