Releventful has a wide variety of available templates that you can build from as you build out and customize your account. You will find the example templates as you create your lead form, proposal template, planning forms and sales campaign emails. Use one of the templates as a starting point and get creative with all the available tools within the editor.

This tutorial contains tips and tricks on how to stylize your forms and create a great user experience for your incoming clients. The following suggestions can be used on the lead form, proposal template and planning forms.

Section Titles

Section titles are a great way to break up your forms as they create headers within the presented content. Creating a header with a section title can introduce the content below and provide guidance to the client on what they are looking at.

To add a section title, click the plus icon at the top of your form and select “Section Title” in the menu that appears.

Banner Image

To create a banner image at the top of the proposal template or form, we recommend adding a “One Column (Text & Image)” layout option. Edit the field once it is added to the form.

To create a banner image, start by adding a one-by-one cell table to the field.

Click into the table and proceed to select the image icon from the toolbar. Upload your image by dragging it into this window or clicking within the box to locate and upload the file.

Once selected, click on the image within the table and center it with the available centering option.

Ensure that the entire table is centered by clicking on the table and selecting the center option in the toolbar.

We recommend that you match the background of the table with the color of the uploaded image or logo. Click into the table and select the “cell background” paint can from the menu that appears. Choose the color that you would like to utilize or enter in the exact HEX color if you have that code available.

Once the banner image is complete, select the close button in the bottom left-hand corner of the window to return to the proposal or form you were working on.

Condense the Lead Form

Instead of asking your leads to answer one single question per row on your lead form, you can condense your form and place questions side by side within a two or three column list display. Select the plus icon at the top of your lead form and select the two column or three column list from the menu on the right-hand side.

Edit the newly added field to create your questions within the columns. Use the “data type” field to select the field you want to ask the lead about. For example, you can select “phone number” and enter the question “what is your phone number” in the field title.

You can enter in your text for the question in the field that follows. Proceed to enter the same information for a new data field on Column 2. Once complete, select “Close” in the bottom left-hand corner to return to the lead form.

Proposal Templates

When creating a proposal template, select the “Add Proposal Template” button at the top of the page and choose one of our templates to start with. Change out the logo on the banner image as described earlier in this tutorial. We encourage you to add images to your packages and add-ons to create a user-friendly experience for your incoming clients as they shop your offerings.

If you have a lot of packages and add-ons, to not flood the proposal template with a picture per each offering, you can choose to break up the template with blocks of pictures.

For example, in the proposal template I am showing you now, I have hidden the pictures from my packages and add-ons and instead created blocks between them with a custom image and text. This is a done by adding a one column text and image field to the proposal template. Within the one column field, I have created a two-cell table and placed my image on one side and my text on the other. I then proceeded to hide the borders of the table by selecting this setting within the editor.

This is a great way to break up your packages and add-ons if you have a lot to showcase.

Sales Campaign Emails

Create a sales campaign email and repurpose one of the available email templates. From the sales campaign menu, select the “Add Sales Campaign” button at the top of the page. You will be presented with a variety of email templates to choose from. Pick one that aligns with your style preference or industry.

Within the campaign, click on one of the emails to customize it. Change your logo out on the header by clicking on the image in the banner and selecting the replace option. Upload your own logo or image.

To change the color of the banner, click on the color and select the paint can in the menu that appears. Select your color or enter your custom HEX color if available.

We hope that this tutorial has provided some helpful guidance on overall best practice tips and tricks for optimizing forms and templates within Releventful.
