Stripe offers two methods for verifying your customer's bank details for ACH payments. The first is through instant verification, and the second is through micro-transactions. If your customer does not wish to use instant verification, they will be prompted to verify their bank details using the micro-transaction approach. The micro-transaction method can cause a delay in processing until the bank has been verified.

The micro-transaction verification process consists of Stripe sending a series of small deposits to the client's bank account. Through this process, Stripe asks the client to participate in verification steps to confirm that the deposits were made and mark them complete for the micro-transaction process.

Microdeposits is an ACH verification feature of Stripe of which Releventful unfortunately does not have control over. If you would not like microdeposits to be used, we recommend that you advise your clients to not use this option and to drive them towards the immediate verification for ACH transactions instead.

A microdeposit is a method of verification that Stripe uses to verify the account, however, the immediate verification doesn't require a microdeposit and allows for the bank account to be verified immediately.
