Manage rooms and check room conflicts

Record which rooms an event needs and review conflicts before promising the space to a client.

Record which rooms an event needs and review conflicts before promising the space to a client.

Steps

  1. Open Settings and the room-management area to define your rooms and applicable defaults.

  2. Open the event and select the room or multiple room allocations it requires.

  3. Enter the event and room-use dates/times accurately, then save.

  4. Review conflict warnings for the same room and time period.

  5. Check the actual overlapping events before changing the room or confirming availability.

Dates and rooms both matter

Two events on the same date do not necessarily use the same room at the same time. Conversely, events that start on different dates can overlap. Include setup/pack-down time when your business needs the room held for it.

A warning is not a booking

Conflict settings and whether an unbooked event is counted affect the result. An event record, inquiry fit check or warning-free display is not by itself a confirmed reservation. Follow your room and booking rules before confirming space.
