Creating a Custom Report

Step 1: Open a prebuilt report

Open a report that most closely aligns with the type of report you wish to create. For this example we'll choose the Sales to Date Report.


Step 2: Apply different filters

  • Click + at the end of a filter chain to add a new filter to the current filter group, OR

  • Click + Add Filter to apply a new filter group, OR

  • Click on any one of the active Filters to edit the report criteria


Step 3: Name your custom report

Click Save Report (icon below) to select a title for this report.

For this example, we'll title our new report "My custom sales report."


Step 4: Save your custom report

Click Create Report


Step 5: Reset the prebuilt report

Releventful will keep any applied filters active on a report, so if you wish to reset the prebuilt report to its original data, reopen the prebuilt report (Sales to Date Report in our example) and select the more options button to Reset the report and remove your custom filters.
