Editing the Event Timeline

The event timeline is designed to be created and edited in seconds so you can quickly make changes based on client discussions.

Edit the timeline

In the portal click Timeline to open the Timeline management screen

Adding an entry to the timeline

To add a new entry to the timeline

Click in the time or description text areas and begin typing

Add a new row to the timeline

Click the Add button (icon shown above) to add a new row to the timeline OR press Tab on your keyboard to quickly add a new row.


Reordering the Timeline

To reorder the timeline

  1. In the Timeline window, click the View List button (icon shown above)

  2. Drag the rows up or down in the list to reorder


Removing a Row from the Timeline

To remove a row from the timeline

  1. In the Timeline window, click the View List button (icon shown above)

2. Click the Remove from Timeline button (icon shown above) on the row you would like to remove


Removing the Timeline from the Portal

To completely remove the event timeline from the portal

  1. In the Timeline window, click the Remove Timeline button (icon shown above)


I Don’t See the Timeline in My Client’s Portal

The timeline option will be automatically removed from your client’s portal if the timeline is empty. To display the timeline in your client’s portal, add a row to the timeline and the timeline will automatically appear.
