Save a report you own after reviewing its columns and filters. A Rae-generated proposal needs a separate save action.
Why this matters
A report answers a business question only when its date range, brand, filters, and measure are clear. Open the records behind an unexpected number before sharing or acting on it.
Before you start
Choose the date range and brand that match the question, and check your report access.
In Releventful
Open a report you own, then set the date, brand, filters and columns.
Click Save Report, enter a name in Save Report As and click Create Report.
Open Custom Reports and select the new report to confirm those choices were saved.
How to make the most of this step
Set the report's date range, brand, filters, and columns before saving it. Give the custom view a name that says what question it answers. Rae may suggest a report, but that preview is not saved until you choose Save Report. Reopen it to verify the persisted view.
A useful decision
Save a custom report when you want to reuse a particular set of filters and columns. Before exporting, confirm the date range, brand, and whether private client information belongs in the file.
Check the result
Open a source record when a figure is surprising. Save or export only after confirming the scope.
Important to know
Filters change which records appear. Revenue, invoice value, and money received may answer different questions even when their totals look similar.
