Ask for the contact details needed to follow up and use the configured questions to understand the event. Review the resulting lead.
Why this matters
Website chat can help visitors ask questions and submit an inquiry without waiting for your team. When available for your account, approve its guidance and test the visitor experience before publishing it to a live page.
Before you start
Confirm website access, the intended brand, and the team member who will follow up with new leads.
In Releventful
Click Settings
Click Rae AI
Navigate to Configure Rae
Click Sales Guidance & Rules
Navigate to Website Chat
Enter Opening and Inquiry Questions
Click Save Setup Draft
Click Preview Saved Draft and Test Rae replies with a sample visitor answer. Check the lead and owner created from the inquiry.
Click Approve and publish the saved version only after the test matches your sales process.
A useful decision
Define what information makes an inquiry useful and when a team member should take over. Test that consent, lead ownership, and an existing workflow behave as expected before using the chat on a public page.
Check the result
Submit a test inquiry from the public site and verify that the conversation, lead, and any appointment appear for the team.
Important to know
Saving or previewing guidance does not contact a visitor. A published chat can create a lead and start an existing workflow after an inquiry is submitted with permission to follow up.
