Review the website address, widget appearance, lead handling, and published settings. Test from the public site.
Why this matters
Website chat can help visitors ask questions and submit an inquiry without waiting for your team. When available for your account, approve its guidance and test the visitor experience before publishing it to a live page.
Before you start
Confirm website access, the intended brand, and the team member who will follow up with new leads.
In Releventful
Click Settings
Click Rae AI
Navigate to Configure Rae
Click Sales Guidance & Rules
Navigate to Website Chat
Enter Allowed Sites, Brand, Opening Question, and Published Lead Form
Click Save Setup Draft
In Review & Approve, select the saved version, inspect it and click Approve this saved guidance.
In Website installation, select that approved version, click Publish selected version, copy it's embed code and add it to a test page. Then submit an inquire to check the lead.
How to make the most of this step
After testing guidance, review the permitted website pages and the installation area for the embed code. A saved draft is not a live visitor experience. Publish, install the code on a controlled page, submit a test inquiry, and check the resulting lead, owner, and any appointment or workflow before adding chat broadly across the site.
A useful decision
Published chat is a separate account feature. The team can prepare and test sales guidance before activation; a live website should show the published version only after it is approved and installed.
Check the result
Submit a test inquiry from the public site and verify that the conversation, lead, and any appointment appear for the team.
Important to know
Saving or previewing guidance does not contact a visitor. A published chat can create a lead and start an existing workflow after an inquiry is submitted with permission to follow up.
