Test account communications with sample events and contacts before allowing live customer activity.
Steps
Turn on Account Test Mode in the account settings.
Use sample contacts, events and documents with safe test contact details.
Review email content and automation behavior using those sample records.
Check pending scheduled work and clean up sample activity before going live.
Turn Test Mode off only when you are ready for normal customer communications.
Email and SMS
Account Test Mode redirects supported account emails to the business email address instead of their intended customer recipients. It can produce more than one redirected copy for different intended recipients. SMS sending is disabled by the account Test Mode checks; test real SMS only with an appropriate test recipient and a deliberate live send.
It is not a payment sandbox
A sample event, invoice preview or Account Test Mode does not make a real provider payment safe to charge. Use the processor's supported test procedure. Do not enter real customer payment details or make a live charge just to check formatting.
Before turning it off
Test Mode is not a promise that every pending action is permanently cancelled. Review scheduled messages, reminders and sample records. After it is off, eligible pending work can use the real recipient details. Use sample data rather than relying on Test Mode to protect real customer records.
