A step by step guide around migrating to Releventful Pay from your current payment processor.

What is Releventful Pay?

Releventful Pay is Releventful's brand new payment processing solution to collect payment from your clients via credit card and/or ACH bank draft transactions. Releventful Pay is the new standard for payment processing within Releventful for all U.S. based customers, replacing Stripe and Square.

How to Migrate to Releventful Pay

To migrate from your current payment processing solution within Releventful to Releventful Pay, follow the steps outlined below:

Step 1: Sign up for Releventful Pay by clicking on the sign up link provided by Releventful. This link would have been provided to you via a pop-up announcement within Releventful in the lower right-hand corner of the page.

ℹ️ Note: If you do not have the sign up link, please contact the Releventful Support Team via the support icon in the lower right-hand corner of the page and they will be sure to provide you with this link.

Step 2: Fully answer the questions within the application form that appears via the sign up link and submit the form once completed.

Step 3: Once the form has been submitted, the Releventful Pay team will review your application and approve your account in 1-2 business days if all the data has been provided properly and without issue.

ℹ️ Note: If there are any issues with your application, a team member will be in contact with you.

Step 4: To track the progress of your application, a support ticket will be generated and sent to you within the Releventful support chat to track the timeline of your application and address specifics around the migration to Releventful Pay.

Step 5: After your account is approved and created, the support team will set Releventful Pay as your payment processor within your account and make Releventful Pay active for your payments.

Step 6: To ensure you understand the functionality of Releventful Pay, a support team member will coordinate a fifteen minute kick-off call with you to review your account in detail.

Releventful Pay Migration FAQ's

What happens to existing Stipe and Square payment requests?

If you're currently using Stripe or Square for payments, those will remain unchanged and continue to be processed through your existing and connected processor. However, if you want to migrate all your unpaid payments to Releventful Pay, just let our team know, and we’ll handle the transition for you.

Once Releventful Pay is activated in your account, your unpaid payments will still be connected to your current processor, while all new payments will be processed through Releventful Pay. You can choose how to manage your existing unpaid payments with one of the following options:

  • Option #1: Keep my current unpaid payments with Stripe or Square.

  • Option #2: Migrate all my unpaid payments to Releventful Pay.

Why should I migrate to Releventful Pay?

Releventful Pay is the latest evolution in payment processing for Releventful. This new solution offers a more integrated approach compared to the other third-party platforms (Stripe and Square). Releventful Pay transactions will be more reliable and less error prone than transactions conducted through Stripe and Square. Should any issues occur, they will be resolved in a quicker timeline, due to the strong partnership we have with the Releventful Pay team.

You can also say goodbye to the .03% fee for each payment transaction! Releventful Pay does not apply additional fees for transactions like Stripe does.

Can I still pass on convenience fees to my clients with Releventful Pay?

Yes, absolutely! You can continue to pass on convenience fees for credit card and ACH/bank draft transactions onto your clients. You can also continue to use any existing payment schedules that you have created and automated within your account.
