It is important to test the client experience and run a sample test client through the system to ensure that all of your automations, emails templates, etc. have been tested and reviewed prior to an official customer coming onboard.
Create a Test Lead
Create a test lead through your website lead form. Open your lead form from the Lead Form Templates menu, or by populating the form directly from your website, if you have already embedded your Releventful lead form there.
Select the Try it Out button at the top of your existing lead form to open the lead form within your Releventful account.
Populate the form as a test lead.
ℹ️ Note: Make sure that the email address you enter when creating your test lead is not an email address already in use within the system. If you want to test any SMS messages, ensure that a phone number has been provided when the lead is created.
After your test lead has been created through the lead form, if the setting is not enabled to automatically convert the inquiry to a lead, follow the steps to convert the inquiry to a lead in the tutorial below:
Test the Proposal Experience
To properly test the proposal and invoice client experience, follow the steps outlined below:
Sign out and close all active Releventful web sessions.
Open the proposal email that was delivered to your test email on file.
Right-click on the Review Proposal button within the email and select Open link in new incognito window.
You will be automatically signed into Releventful and see the proposal and invoice items. Make selections on the proposal template and submit and continue with the button at the bottom of the page. You will be navigated to the contract, invoice and payment if all of these elements have been enabled for the invoice.
