Using the App for the First Time

When you log into the app for the first time you can choose where you would like to go

  • My Schedule will take you to the scheduling, and To-Dos area of the app

  • Events will take you to manage events you have access to

Scheduling Settings - Location Services

About the use of Location Services

Releventful uses location services on the phone to give you automatic clock-in and clock-out reminders and to verify your location upon clocking in and clocking out.

Precise Location Setting

If your employer requires you to be on site to clock in, this setting is required so Releventful can verify you are on site.

Allow While Using the App Setting

If your employer requires you to be on site to clock in, this setting is required to be on so Releventful can verify that you are on site.

Always Allow Setting

The Always Allow setting allows Releventful to run in the background to provide intelligent reminders that remind you to clock in when you arrive on site and remind you to clock out when you leave the site. If you leave this setting off, you will not receive automatic clock in and clock out reminders.

Note: Releventful does not collect, harvest, or sell your location information. We ONLY use it to provide intelligent clock in and clock out reminders and to provide your employer with the location and time you clocked into your shift.

Location Services Settings

Step 1: Click on My Schedule

Step 2: Click Allow While Using App

Note: make sure to leave Precise: On

Step 3: Click Change to Always Allow


Managing Your Schedule

  1. Click the menu button (icon below) and tap Schedule

  2. In the scheduling home screen tap My Schedule

  3. To view your schedule for different months use the date selector

  4. To open your scheduling request, tap on it.

    Note: If you have permission to access the portal, the View Event button will be visible. Tapping on the view event button will take you to the event.


Clocking In and Out of Your Shifts

All active scheduling requests for the day will be listed at the top of the scheduling screen.

  • To clock into an event, tap on the Clock In button

  • When it's time for you to clock out, tap the Clock Out button

Important: precise location services must be enabled to clock in and clock out of your shift.


Reviewing Scheduling Requests

To review your scheduling requests, tap Pending Requests at the top left corner of the app.

Accepting or Declining a Scheduling Request

To accept or decline a scheduling request

  1. Tap on the request to open it

  2. Tap Accept or Decline button

Note: to view full details of the request, tap the request to view it.

Viewing the Event Detail Report

If there is a detail report available, it will display at the bottom of the scheduling request.

  • Tap the View Event Detail Report button to open it.


Managing Your To-Dos

  1. Click the menu button (icon below) and tap Schedule

  2. In the scheduling home screen tap To-Dos

  3. To view your schedule for different months use the date selector

  4. Tap the To-Do to open it.

Adding a Comment to a To-Do

To add a comment to a To-Do

  • Tap Add Comment at the bottom of the To-Do

  • Write your message, and press the Send button (icon listed below) to save your comment

Reassign a To-Do

If you need to assign a to-do to someone else

  • Tap the edit button (icon listed below)

  • Tap Assign To

  • In the To field, start typing the name of the team member you would like to assign it to. When the name appears in the suggestions list, tap it to select it.

Print a To-Do

If you need to assign a to-do to someone else

  • Tap the edit button (icon listed below)

  • Tap Print

Edit a To-Do

If you need to assign a to-do to someone else

  • Tap the edit button (icon listed below)

  • Tap Edit To-Do


Requesting Time Off

  1. Click the menu button (icon below) and tap Schedule

  2. In the scheduling home screen tap Time Off

  3. Tap New Time Off Request

  4. Choose the type of request

    1. Time Off - request for time off that is for a single day or a span of days

    2. Repeating Days Off - request to time off for specific days of the week

  5. Enter the reason, days, and times of your request

    Note: if your request is for a specific time of day, uncheck the All Day check box.

  6. Tap Save to save your request.
