How online payments work with Releventful

See how Releventful connects event invoices, payment options, due dates, and payment records.

Written by Releventful Support

An event business needs to know what a client owes, what has been requested, and what has been received. Releventful keeps that information connected to the event invoice so your team can follow the balance from booking through the final payment.

Give clients a clear way to pay

With an enabled payment provider, clients can use the payment options available on their invoice, which may include cards or bank payments. Your team can also record a payment received outside the online checkout, such as cash or a check.

The invoice and payment schedule help everyone understand what is due next. Depending on your setup, Releventful can send payment reminders and support scheduled payment collection.

Keep the event and its payments together

Payments recorded through the connected checkout appear with the event’s financial information. Your team can review the invoice, payment status, and remaining balance without rebuilding a payment history from separate tools.

A reminder asks a client to pay; it does not collect money. Recording a manual payment updates the invoice record; it does not charge a card. Your team should confirm a live payment or refund with the configured provider before treating it as complete.
