How to Use Rae Effectively

Learn how to give Rae clear, effective requests and review its results before taking action.

Written by Naomi Sherman

A useful request tells Rae what you are trying to accomplish, which record or audience matters, and the timing. Review the result at the point where your team will act.

Before you start

Open the relevant lead, event type, or report and know the business decision you want help with.

  1. State the outcome in plain language. For a workflow, describe the starting event, recipient, task or message, and when it should happen. For a report, set the brand and date range first.

  2. If you have existing process notes, in Workflow studio choose Create with Rae, then Choose a file or Record notes. Click Prepare text for review, correct the text, and click Use reviewed text.

  3. Read Rae’s answer or draft. Open its source report or draft timeline item; check client names, dates, amounts, access, and wording.

  4. Make a correction in the source record or editor, then use its Save, Apply, Send, or Publish action. Reopen the record or Activity to confirm the actual outcome.
